Nicaragua received $5,000 for Best Country Costume at Preliminary Competition in Moscow, Russia. Peacock headdress with colorful feathers, and large jewels, along with jewelry textured top, jewelry textured apron skirt, golden jeweled ankle bracelets, as well as, silver heels.

The interview portion asked the following questions:
Q: What would happen to the world if we could not use the internet?
A: No longer close to our families.
Q: What is your opinion on women traveling abroad, or on cars?
A: Women achieve our independence. We still have problems with independence in our time. We need to keep an open mind--female president--capable of everything.
Q: What is the most significant means to help elect more women around the world?
A: Must possess good qualities to do the job--discipline, performance--fulfill her job.
Q: What can be done for lack of jobs?
A: Invest in education.
Q: What is your biggest fear and overcoming it?
A: I believe on has a lot of fears, but nothing--we should overcome fears to become a stronger person--we can face any obstacle.
